Estate Pool Lawn Replaced With Premium Turf
A large estate lawn wrapping a pool deck, stripped out and rebuilt in premium artificial turf.
The Project
This estate had a big natural lawn running the length of the pool deck and around the side of the house. Between the summer heat and the water it took to keep it alive, it had thinned out to patchy grass and bare soil. The owners wanted the same green look without the water bill or the mowing.
The Challenge
A large, irregular lawn area on multiple grades, wrapping a pool deck and mature hedging. Every edge had to be cut clean against concrete, hedge line and iron fencing, and all the old sod had to come out by hand and wheelbarrow to protect the pool deck and existing planting.
A1's Solution
We removed the existing lawn down to grade, brought the pad back to level, laid weed barrier and a compacted base, then installed premium artificial turf in full-width rolls to keep seams to a minimum. Every perimeter was cut and secured tight to the concrete, hedge and fence line.
The Result
A lawn that stays the same color in July as it does in March, with no watering, no mowing and clean edges all the way around the pool.
