The Project
A mature backyard with room to spare behind the patio. The owners wanted a real practice green rather than a flat patch of turf.
The Challenge
Shaping a green with enough contour to putt on, and holding those contours in a base that would not settle unevenly over time.
A1's Solution
We built and compacted a shaped base, installed putting-green turf with cut cups, and defined the perimeter with a flagstone path and rock border so the green reads as its own space in the yard.
The Result
A practice green the owners use year-round, with no watering and no mowing.
