The Project
A single-story home whose front was mostly plain concrete and worn ground cover. The owners wanted the driveway and approach to read as one finished surface.
The Challenge
Tying a new paver surface into the existing city sidewalk and garage apron so the transitions stayed flush and the drainage still ran to the street.
A1's Solution
We laid the driveway and front approach in pavers on a compacted base, framed a turf island in front of the house, and edged it with decorative rock. The mature palm was kept and worked into the new layout.
The Result
A front yard that reads as one designed surface from the sidewalk to the garage, with a green island that needs no water.
